A short, accessible booklet explaining what happened on the first Easter Sunday and the difference it can make to anyone today.
This evangelistic booklet by Jago Wynne examines the credibility of the claim that Jesus rose from the dead and then shows how the resurrection transforms our view of our past, our lives in the present, and our destination in the future.
It is a warm, accessible and clear explanation of the gospel and is ideal for giving away over Easter at missions and evangelistic meetings, and to friends, family, colleagues and neighbours.

A short, clear explanation of why Easter matters. If you’re looking for something to share with others that gets straight to the point—Jesus, the cross, the resurrection—this does the job well.
This is such a simple, concise read but packs a powerful message.
Wynne presents three reasons why the claim of the risen Christ is true and concludes with three reasons why it matters to us.
Each reason is short and sweet and straight to the point. He does not expound in detail on these reasons which may cause some people strife. But I believe this book is meant to be an intro to those who disbelieve the risen Christ, on the fence of believing the risen Christ, or newly believing the risen Christ. It is to help push those standing on the edge to dig deeper and challenge the normal worldly perspective of Christ's resurrection.
For mature believers, this book would most likely not bring additional insight or growth. But this would be a great little hand out for those who are seeking to know more about the Easter events.
I appreciate the book concluding with a prayer that one can use to confess, repent and believe in the Lord Jesus.
I received a copy of this book from The Good Book Company in exchange for an honest review.
