This will become an all-time favorite read-aloud! What every parent wants to say— and what every child wants to hear. There's nothing you want your child to know more than what this charming book sings in lyrical, romping lines—lines that will tie your heart to your child's and wrap you both up in the love of God and the supremest dream we all have to know. My daughter and I were so smitten with it that we read it twice right away!
I wish I had this book when my kids were little! It is simple. No matter what our kids dream, we want them to love Jesus and walk with him all their lives. You'll love reading this book as a family!
Having loved Dr Seuss since childhood, I am excited to share this book with my grandchildren. This title will inspire many conversations. I love how it values all paths children might take. I love how the Kingdom will come through children starting their big dreams with Jesus.
I love this new book for this very reason. It gives parents a tool to share with little ones the hope that we have in Jesus. This picture book can help us communicate that though we are excited for the future and full of big dreams for our kids, in the end, we humbly pray and hope that they love and trust Jesus first of all.... continue reading
What I like about the book:
• appealing rhyme and the rhythm it develops, making it appealing to ALL ages.
• Hardcover book in the style of the "I can Read books" of my childhood like Sammy the Seal, Danny and the Dinosaur, and more modern Dr. Seuss Hardback books. Thick nice pages inside, make it a book that will endure a family with many children. It feels good. Right sized as well.
• Illustrations- the pages are fun, busy, and the characters and items are a bit silly or quirky, but it adds to the appeal.... continue reading
Melissa Kruger has written a fun, poetic, and timeless book. This is a great resource for starting gospel conversations with your children in a natural and casual way. This is the Christian equivalent to Dr. Seuss’ “Oh, The Places You Go” except in this book, the readers are left with the hope of Jesus.... continue reading
My daughter is 7 months old... but we read this to her about once a week to start teaching her that:
1) We love her.
2) God loves her.
But it's been more challenging to my wife and I to be all about raising her to understand that her life is not her own because of the Gospel. It challenges us to pray for her to one day understand and believe the truth of the Gospel, and then to live that out wholeheartedly through her life.
I great book about keeping Jesus the center of our life.
I’ve seen the idea of having your children’s teachers sign “Oh the Places You’ll Go” and giving it to your children. This is the Christian book for that idea!
This is a favorite to read to my children. It highlights that they could do anything here on earth, but the most important part is loving Jesus. I tear up reading it every single time. So beautifully written and perfectly displays my heart toward my children.
This is one of my most favorite books to read to children. I purchased a copy to read to my grandson and then one for a friend to read to her grandchildren. Such a sweet, inspiring book.
I got a bulk order of these for my classroom end of the year gift to my students. The kids and the parents loved them!
This book was a Christmas gift for our 3 year old granddaughter. At our following visit 3 months later it's still a favorite book that she wants to hear every night!
We love this book. It’s the things you hope and pray for your child - things we prayed over them before they were born. That whatever they become or do, they’ll know Jesus and put Him first.
It’s great to read this to share with them our heart for them.
Thanks for writing it.
We love this book! This book is simple enough to understand but it's like a two-edged sword to our hearts. We always plan for the future, but this book reminded us to prioritize what is important.
This book is utterly brilliant- fun, engaging and full of wonderful truths to teach to young hearts. It helps remind us where our priorities are- that loving God is what matters, such an important thing to teach and remember! It’s not overly heavy or forced, and the repeating rhymes are so memorable that children easily pick them up. A real classic, and worth having on every bookshelf! (And not just for children- I have a copy for when I need to remember these things too!)
This book helps us communicate to our children what our ultimate calling as parents is, to introduce our children to Jesus and our desire to see them believe in Him alone for salvation. We particularly like Seuss-style phrasing and illustrations.
