Here at Covenant Life Church, we have greatly benefitted from the small group resources from The Good Book Company. Many small groups in our family life ministry have used "Colossians: Confident Christianity" in their study of scripture. We have completed only the first chapter of Meeting Jesus which opened up lots of discussion. We were all challenged and encouraged. Looking for ward to further sessions.
A well structured in depth and practical study. I used it with a young Christian and found each chapter too much to do in one sitting but they can be easily broken up into multiple studies.
'Meeting with Jesus' has proven to be a good study guide for our Home Group which has been especially appreciated by the ladies in our group. We have found the overall layout of the guide easy to understand and use and the questions have stimulated much discussion in our group. Overall we have found the guide challenging, stimulating and helpful to gain a greater understanding of the scriptures.

My group is all female and all over 50 years of age, having come together following an Alpha course. This book is helping to develop their knowledge of the Bible and to join in discussion and share personal experiences.
I would thoroughly recommend meeting Jesus study notes. The whole book took longer than we thought as each study encouraged us to sink deeper into the bible creating much discussion. I enjoyed it as a single study aswell as a group study. Extremely thought provoking and helpful.
Our women's group has a span of ages between 20 and 60 years. We feel that we have greatly benefited from the studies which made us examine the suggested bible passages as well as related ones. We have found that in order to do justice to each study we have divided them between two meetings. The studies stimulated productive discussion and provided pointers for prayer. I can highly recommend them.
